Photographer, meryl meisler brings her Simply Scintillating: A Retrospective exhibition to the world. It's her second exhibition for the renowned CLAMP following her brilliant New York PARADISE LOST Bushwick Era Disco in 2021.
In this follow up project Meryl captures the 70's with images of “suburban Long Island to the frenetic clubs of 1970's Manhattan, to slices of daily life in pre gentrification Bushwick”; Meryl's gaze is addictive.

I think about words a lot and I thought a long time about a good title with my gallerist Brian Clamp. We eventually decided. I always imagined the next book as ‘scintillating' where I capture those moments.

I have a second solo show at Clamp. Some where I had a conversation with Brian [Clamp] and told him it will be fifty years since my first photography class in 1973. The show was curated by Brian and it is a retrospective.

I am returning to the format I love and recognising like Dorothy in the Wizard Of Oz standing in the red ruby slippers that I am choosing to go back to film, cinema format and printing.

Some people's art changes and evolves but there is always an original truth that has always been there. For me that original truth is ‘people' ‘expressing' ‘exuberance' ‘confidence'.

I like projects, I like having commitments, I am an exhibitionist, I love to exhibit my work
