In our next instalment with sax player Mark Millington, we go with another unreleased number taken from his vinyl release Picture This (2025).
Last time it was Boo Boo Mania, this time it’s –Dilly Dally. Actually to be clear this track would have been on the vinyl but he had to make a hard choice and unfortunately it did not make the cut. But this has to be a testament to the tracks on that album because this second offering is classy.
In stark contrast to the previous number, Mark goes for something akin to smooth quintessential jazz awash with warm sax flourishes and deep double bass.
Having worked with pivotal names like Hugh Masekela, Mark brings his distinctive jazz sound in Dilly Dally.
