We got into Canadian alternative rapper Lilian Blu Makin back in 2020.
At the time she released her EP Under cover Comfort 2020. We really loved the kind of low fi, hazy loveliness of the track Golden Lies featuring vocals by Mighloe-it was a track that (at the time) epitomised her and the debut project.
Following that EP she has put out a number of releases over the years. Nicotine (2022) and Let’s Never Stop Growing Up (2022) ones for your personal playlist.
2024 Lilian returns with her fresh track The Summer . It’s a beautiful track. Loving that sexual energy: “the summer does something to you”.
