Lapalux is a cerebral force of productive nature and the first single from his forthcoming album Ruinism (released on Brainfeeder) is another nugget of aural niceness in his growing classy discography.
Lustmore (2015) as his second album represents a bit of a wait but that's not unusual for the Essex born producer who evidently has a meticulous approach to production meaning that time is not a factor in his releases.
In his first single Rotted Arp from his third album (released on the 30 06 17), we have an excellent introduction to the album released. An obligatory long intro while Parisienne female dj Louisahh offers an evocative voice-over that could bless some futuristic, dystopian film-stirring synths join in while industrial sounds without that overpowering techno blast are evident before giving way to a deep rich drop that stirs the emotions as all the elements work in a sweet unison for a track that signals Lapalux is back.
Look out Lapalux plays in London at Mick's Garage on the 25 05 17
