A little while back we featured the singer, song-writer and illustrator jupiter grey with his alternative rnb jam Hijacked. We followed that up with an interview to discuss his single but also his anime inspired artwork to accompany the single.
Anyway he's been busy and he dropped his latest single Is It Ever The Same last Friday. The track keeps with Jupiter's love of retro sounds as he opts for something harking back to the 80's with “futuristic” splashes. The context of the single centres on a relationship. Jupiter highlights the betrayal in said relationship which causes him to rethink the entirety of that relationship. The single is the beginning of a string of releases in the lead up to his debut album. As usual Jupiter drops his rather engaging artwork to accompany the single-we like.
We will say that as an independent Jupiter Grey really exemplifies what it is all about. We keep an eye on Jupiter through the socials and his presence, consistency and updates on his grind are clear. While talent is an integral component, that alone will not (generally) equal success. The ability to just grind and work smart is (in some cases) even more important.
