A TRIBE CALLED QUEST-DUE TO DROP THEIR NEW ALBUM-WE GOT IT FROM HERE..THANK YOU 4 YOUR SERVICE

The death of Phife Dawg (on the 23 03 16), member of the iconic and genre defining hip-hop outfit, A Tribe Called Quest was a devastating blow to the hip-hop community let alone the group. Although his passing was sudden, he still had time to work on this, their 6th album due for release on the November 11th.

Featuring names like; the lyrically on-point Andre 3000, the lyrical dexterity of Busta Rhymes, effortless flow of Kendrick Lamar and then slight incongrous addition of Elton John it has all the credentials for a storming album allowing Q-Tip and Jarobi to bring an aural tribute of magnificence to pay tribute to Phife Dawg (RIP).

If you need reminding-here’s a trip down memory lane with the totally timeless Electric Relaxation from ATCQ’s third album, Midnight Marauders (1993).
